Digital Media (BSL Video) Service
Under the new “Social Services and Wellbeing” Act (2014) which was recently introduced into Wales, many organisations across Wales are aiming to make their websites and services not only Bi-lingual (with information available in English and Welsh), but Tri-lingual by including the information in British Sign Language (BSL).
The aim is to make services and organisations more accessible to everyone regardless of their background and communication needs. Our Digital Media Service can translate any text or spoken information into a BSL video clip, for example leaflets, promotional videos, webpages etc. and can include your organisation’s branding and logos.
Additionally we can provide subtitles in easy-read English and Welsh and a voice-over in English of what is being signed on-screen, making it accessible for individuals who have difficulty receiving information through written text.
Once the video is complete you will be supplied with a digital copy for your website/social media and DVD copies should you require them. QR codes can also be provided which enables people to view the video when the code is scanned on a smartphone.
Each order is priced individually depending on the size of the text, how much translation is needed, and what the purchaser’s requirements are with regards to subtitling, audio description/voice over amongst other factors.
In order to maximise every opportunity for people to contact us easily to place orders we need to add onto the bottom of here something like:
